On June 7, Christian Author and Motivational Speaker, Tim Keller took to Twitter to announce that he has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The author asked fans, readers and Christians from all corners, for prayers as he seeks medical treatment for his illness.
“… three weeks ago I didn’t know I had cancer,” Tim Keller wrote in a recent update posted to Twitter and Instagram. Now, the Christian Author known for his Gospel in Life series, is fighting for his life. Holding is faith close to his heart, he has asked his social media followers to join him in prayer.
A senior pastor for more than 28 years at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, Tim Keller stepped down from the ministry in 2017. Parish members continue to support him, as do thousands of readers of his work. Keller is also known for such titles as Walking with God Through Pain and Suffering and The Reason for God.
Tim Keller will be in Sherin Thawer’s thoughts and prayers at this time. She wishes the beloved former minister, motivational speaker and Christian author God’s protection and unwavering love as Keller fights back against pancreatic cancer.
