God wants us to help our fellow people who are in need, and there are many people affected by disasters all around the world. Sherin Thawer, Christian motivational speaker, is passionate about charity work. She hopes to highlight and promote the accomplishments of various Christian organizations and is a proud supporter of Samaritan’s Purse International Disaster Relief.
According to their mission statement, “Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people all around the world.” They tackle international disaster response in several ways by distributing food, water, medicine, shelter, and other supplies. Their other ministry projects include Operation Christmas Child, The Greatest Journey, U.S. Disaster Relief, World Medical Mission, Greta Home and Academy, Children’s Heart Project, and Operation Heal Our Patriots. The Greatest Journey is a twelve lesson course designed to teach children about the Gospel. Through the word of God, Samaritan’s Purse transforms and uplifts communities.
