Sherin Thawer honors the timeless children’s author whose works have remained childhood staples for generations. RIP Beverly Atlee Cleary.

From Beezus and Ramona to The Mouse and the Motorcycle, the novels of Beverly Cleary have crafted memories in the minds of children everywhere — for decades.  Written for boys and girls, Cleary’s works transcended the confines of strict genres, making her stories accessible and relatable.  Her iconic characters, like Ramona, have enjoyed reincarnations in films that’ve cemented her brand in the world of children’s fiction.

Fellow children’s author, Sherin Thawer, sends her condolences to the Cleary family.  May her stories and characters continue to live on for generations to come.
